How do I return an item?

We have a 30 day return policy (from date of purchase).

If for any reason, the customer is not happy with the shade sail, please contact Sales@SanDiegoSailShades.com for an RMA; or you can call Tel: 858.689.9212 (Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm PST).

If the customer wishes to return the items for preference reasons, please note that the customer has 30 days from the purchase date to return all items back to San Diego Sail Shades please make sure to obtain a return request.

REMINDER: If the sail shade has been stretched, hung or used it cannot be returned and restocked as brand new. If the sail shade has been used it will not be processed or returned.
Damages/Defects: If a shade is defective out of the box, please contact us immediately so we can rectify this for you. If a shade is installed without the proper hardware kit, the customer is responsible for any problems during the installation process and/or longevity. DO NOT USE PULLEYS OR RACKET TYPE MECHANISMS TO GET TENSION. We recommend the use of Turnbuckles to get the required tension, without over-tightening which will lead to damaging the shade.

Once the customer's request has been accepted and the customer has received an RMA the customer would need to return the order to San Diego Sail Shades within 14 days from the date of the claim date so that San Diego Sail Shades can process the customers return in a timely manner.

Once received, San Diego Sail Shades warehouse will inspect the item to confirm that it is in "new" condition.

The customer will then receive a refund of the item cost minus a 10% restocking fee.
Refused shipments will incur a 20% deduction to recoup part of the shipping costs.

Please note: Original shipping paid by San Diego Sail Shades to ship the shade sail will be deducted from the return and will not be refunded.

It is the customers responsibility to pay for the return shipping from any shipping carrier of their choosing.
